ANGELO ITRI
Doctor in Dental Surgery
Angelo Itri started his carrier as dental technician and he was graduated in 2009 at Genoa University. He won 2010 Duillo research award in Genoa with the lecture “ dental extractions with piezosurgery vs drills vs levers alone: an in vivo study on primates”. Since 2009 He is a lecture at national and international courses/symposiums (Lebanon, Tunisia, Genoa, Milan, Turin) about piezosurgery, dental materials, cad cam technology, implant surgery, Vital pulp therapy, Dental Bleaching, Hydro Air Abrasion technology and Fiber posts therapy.
In 2012 He was a supervisor at Bioengineering University of Genoa.
Since 2015 He become Opinion Leader of some national and international dental companies.
In 2017 He become adjunct professor at Genoa University – DISC – Department of Restorative and Endodontics Dentistry – Dean Prof. Stefano Benedicenti perfoming lectures during Under-graduating academic programs and Post- graduating programs about dental aesthetic, restorative, implant surgery and andanced implant surgery.
Dr. Itri is actively involved in research since 2006, focusing on dental implants, piezosurgery, dental materials and prosthodontics. He wrote national and international papers about dental materials and regenerative procedures and a book about post-endodontics restorative therapy. He codificated the first predictable protocol to achieve success about vital pulp therapy and about dental bleaching and He wrote the first text book about post-endodontic build up (language Italian and English).
He participates in national and international dental conferences since 2009. He is member of editorial board of Journal of Dental and Oral research and American Research Journal of Dentistry.
He graduated on Traditional Chinese medicine and Acupuncture in 2018. He is an active member of International Piezoelectric Surgery Academy (IPA), Active member of Ligurian Acupuncture Medical Doctors Association (AMAL) and member of Italian Federation of Acupuncture. He work in his office as general dentist in Genoa since 2013.
