LAURO DUSETTI AWARD
Lauro Dusetti, from his position in prominent publishing companies, brought a new way to communicate in dentistry. From the publication of books to the organization of cultural events up to the discovery of digital, with online thematic magazines, he became a central figure in the Italian dental world.
In honor of Lauro Dusetti, IPA honorary member, it was established an award to be presented during the annual IPA Congress to the two best posters on piezoelectric surgery topics (one for basic research, one for clinical research).

CRESCENZO RUSSO AWARD
Dr. Crescenzo Russo, an IPA founding member always at the forefront of scientific research and continuing education of colleagues on topics related to piezoelectric surgery, passed away too early in 2022.
In honor of Dr. Russo, IPA established an annual award for the two most relevant scientific articles on piezoelectric surgery topics (one for basic research, one for clinical research) published in the previous year.
